Mergers and acquisitions play a key role in modern corporate finance strategy. Almost all companies encounter situations (one-time or
recurring) in which strategic purchase or sale decisions must be made.
Throughout this seminar, we will focus on strategic advice on M&A transactions and provide in-depth framework discussions related
to the entire M&A process chain. A case study and numerous practical examples are used to assist you in the application of theoretical
concepts and methodologies to real life situations. Business valuations, transaction structuring, legal and tax aspects, auctions and
negotiation strategies will be an integral part of this workshop. Furthermore, we will outline the most common transaction risks and
frequent mistakes made and provide a framework on how to mitigate these.
After attending this course you will have a solid understanding of the most important stages of M&A transactions. In addition you
will be in the position to actively shape your corporate finance strategy and manage the M&A process throughout the business cycle.
