The changes to the regulatory environment have drastically increased the importance of tax risk management in companies worldwide. The further development
of international accounting standards, such as the comprehensive rules on posting "uncertain tax positions" in annual financial statements under US-GAAP (FIN 48)
means that there is now an increased focus on tax risks. A systematic approach to tax risks is therefore essential if we are to successfully overcome the current
challenges of this rapidly changing environment and deal with the associated risks in a professional manner.
