Medium-sized businesses keen on investment
Zurich, 18 February 2008 – Medium-sized businesses, i.e. those with 100 to 1000 employees are likely to play an important role for
Switzerland's economic development in 2008, too: almost half of all medium-sized businesses expect to see a further improvement in
their business situation in the first half of 2008 and one out of every three of them is planning additional investments and new jobs.
Medium-sized businesses call for reductions in bureaucracy, faster approval procedures and less regulation as means to strengthen them
still further.
