"IFRS 7 in the insurance industry" examines how IFRS 7 Financial Instruments has been applied in
the insurance industry, highlighting challenges faced by insurance companies in applying the standard
and drawing comparisons between them. The report is based on an analysis of the IFRS 7-specific
disclosures in the annual financial statements of 16 of the largest insurers reporting under IFRS.
