Study: Global IPO market finishes the year weakly
7 December 2011 – The global market for initial public offerings (IPOs) finishes the year with a whimper after
a strong start to the year. In October and November there were only 148 IPOs worldwide, which raised a total
of USD 15 billion. In the same period of the previous year there were 306 IPOs with a volume of
EUR 104 billion.
