Das Schweizer Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Beratungsunternehmen Ernst & Young ist im Geschäftsjahr 2005/2006 um 6.3% auf einen Umsatz von CHF 482.1 Mio. gewachsen. Zusätzlich zu diesem Umsatz exportierte die auf nachhaltiges Wachstum in fokussierten Märkten ausgerichtete Ernst & Young Schweiz Aufträge im Gegenwert von CHF 230 Mio., die im Ausland ausgewiesen wurden.

L’édition d’octobre est consacrée essentiellement au droit fiscal international. Les Bourses, motivées par les mêmes soucis de croissance que les entreprises, développent de plus en plus leur stratégie d’ouverture à l’international. Cependant, au-delà du choix de la Bourse appropriée, la réussite d’une entrée en Bourse dépend d’autres facteurs tout aussi importants.

Ernst & Young, the Swiss audit and advisory services firm, increased its revenues in the 2005/2006 fiscal year by 6.3% to CHF 482.1 million.
In addition to these revenues, Ernst & Young Switzerland, which is oriented towards sustainable growth in focused markets, exported mandates in the equivalent sum of CHF 230 million which were included in the reporting abroad.

Our current issue of Legal News identifies the situations in which this approach is relevant and discusses the corresponding legal basis in Switzerland. The results of an unpublished Best Practice study by Ernst & Young also provides information about how more than 40 international companies deal with whistleblowing.

The main focus of the October issue is on topics in international tax legislation and discusses the way in which uncertain tax positions are handled in balance sheet accounting, the new protocol on the double taxation treaty between Argentina and Switzerland and sales tax in the EU.
